A blend of herbs meant to support the digestive, urinary and cardiovascular systems for a full body or GI system cleanse.
When to Use...
Long term- for cleaning the GI tract, regulating bowel movements, chronic bowel issues.
- Drink 1 cup (8oz), 1-3x a day. Continue 3-5 days a week, for 3-6 weeks.
- Chronic issues- after 6 weeks, stop for 1-2 weeks to let the bowel rest and reset. Then restart for 2-3 weeks if problems persist.
Short term- GI discomfort like nausea, heart burn, diarrhea, constipation or belly ache.
- Take 1-2x a day for mild symptoms. For severe discomfort, take every 4-6 hours until symptoms subside.
Herbs included...
Dandelion, chickweed and chicory were selected to support the liver's detox pathways and to improve regulation of the bowel. The herbs nettle, yellow dock and burdock root were included to support provide nutrients and moisture to the bowel, while also increasing fluid removal and cleansing the blood.
Dandelion- improves detox pathways in the liver, increase urine to remove toxins, reduces blood pressure, anti-parasitic and feeds good bacteria in the gut.
Chickweed- curves appetite, nourishes the bowel, improves lymphatic drainage, controls inflammation and lubricates the bowel for easier bowel movements.
Nettle- power nutritive for the GI and urinary tract, increases urination/ fluid removal, contains fiber, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antihistamine.
Yellow Dock root- purifies and cleanses the blood, improves iron absorption, promotes bowl cleansing, releases bile and stimulates bowel movements.
Burdock root- restores body to natural state, protects and heals the liver, balances blood sugar levels, alkalizes the bowel by removing acids, rich in iron and b vitamins.
Chicory root- coffee substitute, stabilizes blood sugar, increased nutrient absorption, contains prebiotic fiber, relieves heartburn and alkalizes the stomach.
